- Hi, my name is Carmel Carberry and I am married to John ~ we have two wonderful sons and an amazing daughter in law.
- My family and friends (in various locations) have supported and helped me to write books over the years, by sharing their love and wisdom, and their patience while I am working!
- I began writing many years ago, to encourage others that there is hope despite difficult times. I suffered from deep depression over many years and wanted to help others by sharing my testimony of dealing with this issue (as well as long term illness). I found renewed hope and steps of healing through faith in Christ, which continues today, but so much has been learnt! When times of difficulties arise, both John and I know that the truth remains ~ God is for us and not against us and He is our help at every point of need.
- I wrote my first book ‘God’s Fruitful Garden’ in 2012 while John and I were leading a home fellowship in Bedford (UK). John and I also began an online ministry of hope and encouragement at http://www.gardenlandministries.uk We moved to North Derbyshire (UK) in 2018 and continue to share ‘Good News’ however we can as The Holy Spirit leads.
- ‘Gardenland Books’ and the ‘His Story’ series offer simple and foundational Christian teaching within their pages. The ‘Abi Tails’ series are simply fun centred, sharing amusing tales about the family dog ‘Abi’! All of the books are available at Amazon worldwide.
- God has helped us, and our whole family, in so many ways ~ He sent His Son Jesus because He loves you and wants to help you too.
